Renee Dutton
Author, Storyteller & Media Producer
Renee Dutton's path was shaped not just by research, but by real life experiences that revealed how consistently underestimated kindness is as a force for change.
Her work draws on those experiences alongside research in psychology, neuroscience, and organizational behavior to make a simple case: kindness is not a character trait or a platitude. It is a practice with measurable outcomes. Understanding it changes how we lead, teach, parent, and build communities.

Work & Writing
Renee is the author of two books: The Sunshine Effect, which examines the ripple effects of optimism and small acts of kindness, and The Kindness Advantage, her forthcoming work on kindness as a strategic capability in leadership and organizations.
She is the executive producer of Kindness: The Missing Link, a documentary currently in development that features perspectives from business leaders, educators, scientists, and everyday people on why kindness is the essential element that is often absent from how we build institutions and communities.
